What set you on the road to where you are now?
I always enjoyed maths in school, but I also enjoyed history; all the stories and their consequences. I found digital marketing after college, and Google Ads appealed to me because it combined both.It had so much data and history to look at, and you could see the results of your optimisations immediately. The environment at Wolfgang, where we want to be the best, has really encouraged me to thrive.
As a director, why was it important to you to make Wolfgang an employee-owned trust?
It means we are all in it together. I've always been a big fan of team sports, and that sense that we are part of a team working together towards a shared goal is key for me. For me, employee ownership really embodies that team spirit, where we are all working together, sharing the highs and the lows, and focusing on achieving the same goals.
You're the gatekeeper. What's that one intangible quality you look for that makes you say, 'Yep, that's a Wolfgang person'?
That's tough to distil! We work in such a fast-evolving industry, so great Wolfgang team members need to be enthusiastic, resilient, and proactive. They need to be resilient as change can be challenging, and proactive in seeking out ways to get better results for their clients.
