What set you on the road to where you are now?
A whole lot of luck, I think! I’ve always been drawn to creativity and connection. My background’s a real mix: philosophy, graphic design, retail management, and a music blog. When this role came up 10 years ago, it was serendipitous. Now I'm here keeping things running smoothly, supporting the team, organising parties, and helping build a culture that’s lively, inclusive, and full of good energy.
As a co-owner, what does being part of an employee-owned trust actually mean to you?
I feel genuinely lucky to be part of this movement. Being part of the Trust makes me incredibly proud. It’s so rare to hear positive stories about the world of work; too often, it’s about buy-outs and layoffs. Our directors' decision shows a real commitment to people over profit, something that’s incredibly rare today.
You're the 'heart of the office'. What's an interaction you witness that perfectly captures the Wolfgang culture?
Aww, that’s lovely! What has really stood out to me is how people respond when someone needs a hand. There’s always a real sense of calm and cooperation: no fuss, no drama, everyone eager to help. I see a real belief that every challenge can be solved. I hadn’t seen that kind of steady optimism and grit before, and it’s something I find inspiring.
