The Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road, welcomed the best of Ireland’s digital media on Friday 16 February for the 2018 Energia Digital Media Awards. Hosted by Newstalk’s Tom Dunne, the awards were attended by more than 700 of Ireland’s digital industry.
The Guinness Storehouse won an impressive double for the Energia Bright Spark and Best in Travel & Tourism awards. Teneo Digital also won two prestigious prizes: Best Brand and Best Strategy both for AIG Ireland.
We won big on the night too bringing home three awards, including:
- Best Search for DID
- Best Social for Tesco
- Best Agency
We're delighted with winning the Best Search and Best Social awards, and we're delirious with winning the Best Agency award. These awards get harder to win every year, the Irish digital marketing industry is getting stronger and stronger and now punches way above its weight internationally. I believe the secret to winning awards is showing the judges something they have never seen before. Our winning campaigns for Tesco and DID demonstrated our digital marketing inventions in action.
It was Tracey Carney's last year running the Digital Media Awards. She has brought bundles of personality to the night and she will be sorely missed.
